New Small Plates Lunch Menu at Spiny
Now the nights are closing in (hate it/love it) and there’s a chill in the air, it got us thinking about the attraction of having lunch at Spiny. When we asked some of you what you wanted to see at lunchtime, there were some interesting answers. “I have less time at lunch, so I need to be in and out more quickly”; “At dinner, we never get the chance to enjoy the whole menu, more chance to taste and try please”; “I don’t have a large appetite at lunchtime, it would be good to have something lighter and smaller”.
Well, we listened. We talked between ourselves, and our wonderful head chef Patrick concocted a great number of dishes for us to try, different tastes, dishes, and sizes, so we tasted them as a team and we are now excited to share them with you the result, our new Small Plates Lunch Menu.
Forgive us for being biased, but we believe it is the perfect answer for when you look at a menu and can’t decide what to have and wish you could try it all, well now you can. Our new weekly menu will be available Tuesday to Friday lunchtime where you can share, feast and indulge in lots of our famous dishes from tuna tartare, soft shell crab, pickled mackerel to hand-dived scallops with chorizo and so much more, giving you the chance to sit with friends and indulge, or just have a quick lunch trying the different varieties of seafood dishes from the kitchen. There may be a problem knowing where to start first, but this is your treat, designed by you, so just try, and enjoy.
Just like on our jazz evenings, it has a tapas-esque feel to it for you to have as many or as little as you like. You can obviously also still opt for our daily changing al-a carte menu that will be running in the same way, if you are just craving a whole lobster or meaty piece of monkfish.
